Understanding who your customer is (and isn’t) is the key to successful marketing. Getting to know your audience allows you to create more content tailored to their needs and wants. The more you know about your customer the better. Never try to boil the ocean by trying to appeal to everyone — you will appeal to no one. Focus on your niche and tailor your efforts towards them.
